The WALDNER Group is divided into three legally distinct companies, each of which operates autonomously: Hermann WALDNER GmbH & Co. KG, WALDNER Laboreinrichtungen GmbH & Co. KG and Hohenloher Spezialmöbelwerk Schaffitzel GmbH & Co. KG. Worldwide, the company now employs more than 1400 people. WALDNER, headquartered in Wangen, a town in the Allgäu region of southern Germany, manufactures process systems and packaging machines for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industry, as well as laboratory solutions that include appropriate items of laboratory equipment and furniture items for natural science teaching premises. The new, ultra-modern production hall, measuring over 10,000 m², is now the final section of construction for extending its Wangen location in the Allgäu region. This building is a clear and future-oriented acknowledgement of the importance of Wangen as a company location.
Waldner is continuing its long-standing partnership with Waldmann, founded upon many years of confidence inspired by quality. Accordingly, the high-end TAUREO LED continuous-row system has been installed in the production hall at the Wangen site. The great energy efficiency of LED lighting plays a key role for Waldner. A very great advantage when compared to many of its competitors is without doubt the ease of maintenance of the Waldmann TAUREO system. The continuous-row system is designed to enable supporting rail elements to be joined, and for luminaires to be replaced, without the need for tools. The exceptional durability of these LEDs enable Waldmann to provide a 5-year warranty period, and 20 years of warranty cover for its spare parts. With this continuous-row system, the Engineer of Light is consistently pursuing its policy of providing high-quality and future-oriented indoor lighting for industrial premises. The focus is always on the most important factor of all: achieving customer satisfaction - in this case the satisfaction of the WALDNER Group.
